Payge Fortier
Payge Fortier was Born 1988, raised in rural area near Dawson Creek BC. From a very young age the arts have always been a huge influence in Payge’s life. She completed her first year of visual arts at Northern lights Collage in Dawson Creek, and continued further education at ACAD in Calgary Alberta. Now an active member of the FCA, taking professional workshops through her Peace River Chapter. She actively participates in regional juried shows, and was in the top 3 for an “Art Battle” speed painting competition in Grand Prairie AB. Currently owns and operates Picture it! Custom framing. A fine art framing shop in down town Dawson Creek. Payge teaches painting and drawing classes through her local art gallery. Her main medium of focus is Acrylic, but also enjoys playing with multiple forms of printmaking. Nature, dreams and the dynamic landscape of the Peace region are the main influences in her work.
